The CCM Super Tacks AS3 Skates feature a Monoframe One-Piece boot that allows players to get more direct energy transfer and a closer fit for faster feet. Along with RFM Composite, the Super Tacks AS3 Skates are an NHL-caliber skate with NHL-caliber stiffness. The lightweight, stiff and thermoformable core generates the ultimate skating performance.
Inside the Super Tacks AS3, a TotalDri Liner offers a high-performance moisture wicking material that keeps feet dry and skates light. With added Durazone Abrasion Protection, this model carries added protection against wear and rubbing. An Injected Smooth Contour Pro comfort pad is a thick pad around the top of the boot and tendon that hugs your foot and ankle while adding durability to the collar. Lastly, symmetrical Multi Density Memory Foam ankle pads wrap anatomically around the player’s foot for customized fit and comfort.
New to the Super Tacks AS3 is a replaceable tongue. The skate comes standard with CCM’s Asymmetrical TriTech Flex Tongue with Molded Lace-Bite Protection. This stock 7mm asymmetrical tongue molds to the foot, and features enhanced lace-bite protection.
On the bottom of the skate, a Lightweight Midsole gives players enhanced energy transfer from the boot to the blade. This year’s Super Tacks model carries the all-new SpeedBlade XS System. This quick-release holder has an integrated lock-dial that can be used to change runners in between shifts, making sure you never miss any ice time. Coupled with the SpeedBlade XS Holder is the SpeedBlade XS Stainless Steel, a stainless steel that provides a long-lasting edge for long-term performance.
The CCM Super Tacks AS3 comes standard with the CCM Ortholite UltraLite footbed, a premium lightweight insole that offers comfort and support.
