The CCM JetSpeed Youth Skates were developed entirely to help young players learn and improve their skating, and to enjoy the game to its fullest. The features of this skate are completely unique and have been thought through to help first timers on the ice. They include two (2) sets of blades: one to help the child’s stability on the ice and the other to help the child improve their skating performance.

Inside the JetSpeed Youth, a flexible boot facing zone makes it easier to comfortably wrap the boot around the ankle and for the child to flex the skate when learning proper skating techniques. A brushed micro fiber liner offers comfort and durability, with added protection against wear or rubbing. A 7mm felt tongue with embossed lace-bite protection provides increased comfort and protection.

On the bottom of the skate is a replaceable youth holder, allowing new skaters to easily switch their blades to match their advancing level of play:

A stability blade features a flat profile and an increased thickness, allowing the child to be more stable when they stop on the ice for the first time. This blade will help them learn key skating techniques like starts, stops, and strides.

A performance blade is also included. Once beginner movements have been learned on the ice, it’s time to switch to this blade to master these skills. This blade features the same profile as CCM regular stock youth skate products.

The CCM JetSpeed Youth comes standard with a Molded Kids Sizing Zone footbed, offering young players support, comfort, and the most accurate measurement.
