The Bauer Vapor 3X Skates feature a Digi Comp quarter package with a slightly softer construction and Motion Flex technology to increase the forward flex of the boot. For younger player’s developing their stride, this ease of flex helps to build good technique.

Inside the Vapor 3X, a hydrophobic liner reduces moisture keeping feet dry and skates light. Bauer’s Comfort Edge is a synthetic pad around the collar of the boot that provides superior foot and ankle comfort. Memory foam ankle pads assist with thermoformability, comfort and fit. Lastly, an asymmetrical toe cap creates a better connection for the player’s foot to the boot by minimizing negative space around the toes.

A classic 40 oz felt tongue is your traditional “pro-style” tongue with a metatarsal pad that provides protection and comfort.

On the bottom of the skate, a Digi Comp outsole gives players better forward flex throughout in their full stride. The 3X still comes attached with Bauer’s patented TUUK LightSpeed Edge holder. Their quick-release holder has an integrated trigger system that can be used to change runners in between shifts, making sure you never miss any ice time. Coupled with the LightSpeed Edge holder is the LS Balance steel, which makes it easier for young players to learn skating stride and gives them confidence stepping on the ice.
