The Bauer APEX Lite Mouth Guard was developed to re-engineer the process in which boil and bite mouth guards are produced and fit in the player’s mouth. Benefiting from thousands of impressions taken through the 3D Custom Scanning process, GuardLab developed the mold for the APEX Lite guard to fit as close to a custom guard as possible and less like the traditional boil and bite guards that exist today.
The scans GuardLab recorded allowed them to develop the ultimate model of a players teeth that was then used to form the mold for their Patented Indented Bite Pattern and the three sizes of guards to fit various sizes of players mouths. Every mouth guard is molded utilizing the Digital Teeth giving the player the fit and feel of a custom molded guard after the fitting process.
With precision accuracy, the GuardLab mouth guards are shorter in the back of the mouth to reduce the gagging effect, lower on the gums for better breathing and is pre-curved inward to shape to the gums for an improved fit that allows the guard to stay on the teeth during game play.
Further enhancing the fit, we benefit with high-grade dental material, which is shock absorbent, soft and flexible, latex-free, BPA-free and phthalate-free. Once molded, the mouth guard does not surrender comfort and offers cushioned protection, creating better athletic mouth guards. The unique properties of being able to form to the mouth at low temperatures and can be done multiple times to ensure the perfect fit. The result is a soft, comfortable mouth guard that absorbs more destructive force than other athletic mouth guards by transmitting less force to the teeth, jaw, and brain.
