The Bauer KONEKT HF2 goal skate requires a specific heat molding proccess that must be performed by an Authorized Bauer Retailer. We recommend visiting your local Bauer retailer to ensure the proper procedure can be performed.
The Bauer KONEKT goal skate was developed with the most advanced technology available. These skates are a marriage of flexibility and support never before seen on the market. Achieve up to 22 degrees of additional flex, all while staying consistently secured by two sets of pro-ski inspired performance buckles. With all the same performance advantages, the Bauer KONEKT HF2 is now available at a lower price point.
On the exterior of the KONEKT HF2, a thermoformable anaform shell protects the goalie from puck impacts and allows for enhanced butterfly pushes with a plate platform interior. The HINGEFLEX upper shell cuff provides 22% more flexibility than a traditional goal skate. Inside the skate, a foam liner with ULTRALON ankle pads allow the goalie to achieve a custom fit instantly in-store and take the ice with superior comfort.
On the bottom of the skate, a plate platform attaches to Bauer’s patented VERTEXX Edge holder. This quick-release holder has an integrated trigger system that can be used to change runners in between shifts, making sure you never miss any ice time. Coupled with the VERTEXX Edge holder is LS3G+ 3mm stainless steel.
The Bauer KONEKT HF2 comes with a heel loop molded into the upper shell, allowing goalies to strap their pads along the Achilles instead of through the holder/cowling.
Fit
Due to the Bauer KONEKT goal skates unique sizing and custom thermoforming process, these skates come in full sizes only.
For example, if you are an 8.5 you will fit an 8.0.
The single "R" width will fit anywhere from a "C" to "EEE" widths.
