The Bauer Vapor Velocity Skates feature a 3D-Lasted flex composite boot that is lightweight and easier to flex, combined with a Digi Comp outsole, this skate offers additional forward flex to deliver more strength and agility.
Inside the Vapor Velocity, a one-piece sublimated liner offers a moisture wicking material that keeps feet dry with an added pop of color in the skates interior. Bauer’s Comfort Edge is a synthetic pad around the collar of the boot that provides superior foot and ankle comfort. Memory foam ankle pads assist with thermoformability, comfort and fit. Lastly, an asymmetrical toe cap creates a better connection for the player’s foot to the boot by minimizing negative space around the toes.
A classic 40 oz felt tongue is your traditional “pro-style” tongue with a metatarsal pad that provides protection and comfort.
On the bottom of the skate, a Digi Comp outsole gives players better forward flex throughout in their full stride. The Velocity still comes attached with Bauer’s patented TUUK LightSpeed Edge holder. Their quick-release holder has an integrated trigger system that can be used to change runners in between shifts, making sure you never miss any ice time. Coupled with the LightSpeed Edge holder is the LS1+ black steel, a stainless steel with a black oxidized finish for visual aesthetics.
The Bauer Vapor Velocity comes standard with a Form Fit footbed.
