The Bauer Vapor 2X Pro Skates feature a 3D-Lasted Carbon CURV Composite boot with the standard Vapor X-Rib Pattern to deliver maximum ankle and heel support while skating. Along with the new DYNAFLEX Ultimate Performance System, the Vapor 2X Pro Skates allow for slight flexibility throughout the quarter to prevent fatigue on the ice without compromising boot integrity. The Integrated Injected Facing supports your foot and gives you more control over the skate.
Inside the Vapor 2X Pro, a Lock-Fit PRO Liner offers a high-performance moisture wicking material that keeps feet dry and skates light. Bauer’s Comfort Edge Padding is a one-piece synthetic pad around the collar of the boot that provides superior foot and ankle comfort. Aero Foam PRO Memory Foam ankle pads deliver premium thermoformability, enhanced comfort and improved fit. Lastly, the new Asymmetrical Toe Cap was assembled using the profile of 25,000 player scans and is optimized to enhance your push-off on every stride.
A newly-designed Recoil PRO Tongue is a molded felt tongue with a dual injected metatarsal guard that provides additional flex, protection, and comfort.
On the bottom of the skate, a Vented Composite Outsole gives players enhanced energy transfer from the boot to the blade. The 2X Pro still comes attached with Bauer’s patented TUUK LightSpeed Edge Holder. Their quick-release holder has an integrated trigger system that can be used to change runners in between shifts, making sure you never miss any ice time. Coupled with the LightSpeed Edge Holder is the TUUK LS5 Carbon-Coated Steel. A softer inner-core delivers enhanced edge quality and sharpness, and carbon coating provides premium edge retention and bite properties.
The Bauer Vapor 2X Pro comes standard with the Dynamic Flex footbed, a premium insole with a layer of mid-density foam for enhanced comfort and fit.
