The CCM JetSpeed FT2 Skates feature a Lightframe 360 Evo One-Piece boot that is all about pure performance. What does that mean? It means that a closer fit gives a more direct energy transfer that leads to faster feet. Along with Rocketframe Composite, the JetSpeed FT2 Skates are an NHL-caliber skate with NHL-caliber stiffness. The highly rigid and thermo-formable core generates the ultimate in skating performance.
Inside the JetSpeed FT2, a TotalDri Pro + Liner offers a high-performance moisture wicking material that keeps feet dry and skates light. With added Durazone Abrasion Protection, this model carries increased abrasion resistance. An Injected Smooth Contour Pro comfort pad is a one-piece injected tendon with a dense pad around the collar of the boot that provides improved durability and superior foot and ankle comfort. Lastly, asymmetrical Multi Density Memory Foam ankle pads wrap anatomically around the player’s foot for customized fit and comfort.
A newly designed Metatomic Tongue with Molded Lace-Bite Protection is a lightweight, asymmetrical tongue that carries advanced protection by fully wrapping around your foot to take your comfort and fit to a new level.
On the bottom of the skate, a Lightweight Composite Midsole gives players enhanced energy transfer from the boot to the blade. This years JetSpeed model debuts the all-new SpeedBlade XS System. This quick-release holder has an integrated lock-dial that can be used to change runners in between shifts, making sure you never miss any ice time. Coupled with the SpeedBlade XS Holder is the SpeedBlade XS1 Black Steel, an oxide treated premium stainless steel that provides a harder blade with a longer-lasting edge life and 12% more height for increased agility and performance.
The CCM JetSpeed FT2 comes standard with the CCM Orthomove footbed. Players can customize their arch support using Velcro inserts to enhance the fit of the skate.
