The Bauer Supreme Matrix Skate is offered in Bauer’s new Performance Fit System and is designed for the skilled player who wants added comfort. Featuring a 3D Lasted Flex Composite Boot that is lightweight and easier to flex, combined with a composite outsole, this skate offers additional stiffness in the lower portion to deliver more straight-line speed.
Inside the Supreme Matrix, a moisture wicking Lock-Fit Liner keeps feet dry and skates light. Aerofoam ankle pads and a 52-ounce classic pro felt tongue deliver thermoformability, enhanced comfort, protection, and fit. Lastly, the new Asymmetrical Toe Cap was assembled using the profile of 400,000 player scans and is optimized to enhance your push-off on every stride.
On the bottom of the skate, the Matrix comes attached with Bauer’s patented TUUK LightSpeed Edge Holder. Their quick-release holder has an integrated trigger system that can be used to change runners in between shifts, making sure you never miss any ice time. Coupled with the LightSpeed Edge Holder is the TUUK LS5 Carbon-Coated Steel. A softer inner-core delivers enhanced edge quality and sharpness, and carbon coating provides premium edge retention and bite properties.
The Bauer Supreme Matrix comes standard with the Form-Fit+ footbed, a premium insole with memory foam comfort and ventilation.
